Since ancient times, flowers have been closely connected with people and society. People have endowed flowers with symbolic meanings used in various social occasions, integrating plants into cultural life as symbols of blessings, emotions, life, and more. This study aims to explore the potential societal impacts of floral art beyond its basic functions of handmade creation, leisure appreciation, and commercial purposes. The research selects two cases from Taiwanese floral workshops, "FiMe" and "PAURORA sustainable floral studio," as the primary subjects. Both aim not only to sell products but also to enhance the social value of floral art. The study examines how floral art can become an emotional medium that activates human agency, especially focusing on women often constrained by household responsibilities, and the concerns of floral art with environmental protection. This thesis employs qualitative research methods, specifically in-depth interviews and observation, to conduct a comparative study of the cases. The problem awareness established from the individual to the natural environment and then linked to the social aspect is: What changes does the practice of floral art bring to women's self-roles, social roles, and interpersonal relationships? What are the possible conditions and effects that arise? Secondly, under what opportunities has the concept of environmental sustainability been incorporated into Taiwan's floral workshops? What are the feasibility and obstacles of running floral workshops that integrate concerns for the natural environment, and what kind of feedback can it bring? What impact does it have on the participants involved? Finally, how can floral art become a medium for female social solidarity and a resource for social mobilization? How can the challenges and difficulties faced in social co-creation be resolved through the social co-learning and sharing practices of floral art? The research focuses on three main themes to explore and interpret these questions: the relationship between floral art and women's self, sustainable practices, and the connection analysis of social co-creation.
