隨著時代變遷,雖然性別議題在臺灣日益受到重視,但社會大眾的性別角色態度還是有顯著差異。本研究主要以個人與家庭背景因素、性別基模理論作為基礎,探討影響青少年性別角色態度的 多種可能因素。且以 2000 年中央研究院「青少年成長歷程研究」之長期追蹤調查資料,擷取當中 2690 名有效樣本作為分析資料。以青少年個人因素(性別、學校所在地、學習成績排名)及青少年家 庭因素(父親教育程度、母親教育程度、父親籍貫、家庭收入)、性別基模理論(家務分工-照顧孩子 、煮飯做菜,職業-軍人、護理師)來探討其對青少年性別角色態度的影響程度。 本研究的主要發現結論有:
一、青少女較青少男性別角色態度呈現非傳統。
二、母親的教育程度愈高,青少年的性別角色態度愈平等。
三、平均成績愈高,青少年的性別角色態度愈平等。
四、性別基模理論中的家務分工與職業類別對青少年性別角色態度有顯著影響。

With the change of times, there is a growing interest in gender issues in Taiwan. However, the gender-role attitudes of the public differ markedly. This study aims to explore Taiwanese adolescents’ gender-role attitudes, which are influenced by individual and family background factors. The study applies gender schema theory to analyze Taiwan Youth Project (TYP) dataset. The effects of adolescents’ gender-role attitudes are investigated with their genders, school districts, grades rankings, parents’ education levels, fathers’ birthplaces and family incomes, the division of household labor and parents’ careers.
The study reveals four facts below. 1. Compared with teen boys, teen girls’ gender-role attitudes are unconventional. 2. The higher education level an adolescent’s mother achieves, he/she has more egalitarian beliefs in gender-role attitude. 3. The more average grades an adolescent gets, he/she has more egalitarian beliefs in gender-role attitude. 4. The division of household labor and parents’ careers (in gender schema theory) have a significant impact on adolescents’ gender-role attitudes.
