This thesis is to investigate the effects of family factors on female marriage willingness and dating behavior. With sample of 1,900 unmarried women from TEPS and TEPS-B databases ,this study focus on the effect of family structure, family relationships and dependence on parents as major factor on influencing female attitude on marriage willingness by multiple regression analysis. The analysis showed that:(1) The marital status of parents and numbers of brothers and sisters have no significant effect on the individual willingness to marry.(2) More close interactions between respondents and their mothers or brothers and sisters, the willingness to marry of the respondents are more positive.(3) The willingness to marry is positive correlated with personal income, but has no correlation with funding from parents: the higher personal income, the more positive their willingness to marry. The dating behavior is positive correlated with their income level. Higher personal income leads to higher probability in dating, but no significant relationship with other factors.
