論文提要內容：
男同志次文化中以「動物」作為稱呼，並區分不同的族群。「動物」稱呼是男同志圈獨有文化，除了勾勒想像外，同時賦予他人價值觀、評價於其中，而非單純的只是一個「稱呼」。本研究以「狼族」、「熊族」、「猴族」、「豬族」等動物族群，作為探究男同志體態研究、不同因素區分彼此族群的差異以及複雜性。
本研究擬以男同志作為研究對象，進行質性深度訪談。為了增加研究豐富度於受訪者中，除了訪談男同志外，也受訪其他性傾向者相互比較與差異。期望深入了解男同志對於圈內「動物」族群的觀點與想法、健身風潮對於男同志身體的影響、標籤他人/自我標籤的差別，以及情慾資本的高低在於交友/情感/性愛層面的影響。
研究發現，男同志的族群區隔與分類複雜，主要因素受到身材、容貌、打扮、個人特質為主要被評論和比較的項目。「動物」族群中，「狼族」、「熊族」、「猴族」、「豬族」皆有不同的身材、外貌的想像與區別，以及不同的評價。其中，從受訪者的談論中了解到男同志的追崇健美體態，除了受到健身風潮、大眾社會對於生理男性的「理想身材」外，同時也受到男同志次文化對於個人身體影響，使得男同志受到雙重社會化影響下而更加追求強健的體魄。
談論到男同志的「動物」族群差異與歸類時，發現到受訪者對於自我認定的族群是模糊，甚至是排除於被歸類之中。對於其他男同志時，則會依自我的價值觀來評斷與歸類他人為哪一種「動物」族群，標籤自我/他人所產生的反應截然不同，而有「第三人效果」的現象產生。本研究發現情慾資本對於男同志是具有重要性，它影響著個人於男同志文化中的位階高低，也影響著交友/情感/性愛層面的影響，因此男同志格外著重體態與外在表現。

In Taiwan gay culture , we call “animals” to gay people . For example, wolf , bear , monkey or pig else . Call animals to people who have some specific association . But, how to distinguish “animals” and recognize gay people is important to research .Why gay people need to call “animals”? or some reason else .
In research, I interview 11 gay and 5 else sexual orientation people to find new discovery . Body , appearance , personal qualities are made a distinction . Respondents represent gay culture influence gay everyone . So , gay people need to be a muscular hardly . I find “the thired-person effect” , “sensual hierarchy” and “erotic capital” will affect gay culture . The three point would helped gay people to get better life .
Finally , I hope to tell much about gay culture , because I want everyone more understand gay’s life than before .
