國中生物質使用之研究

本研究採用中央研究院社會研究所1996年所開始之「青少年個人生活學業評量」問卷調查資料,以第二、三年的學生問卷資料來做貫時性分析,探討國中生物質使用(其吸菸、飲酒及非法藥物)之影響因素及差異。

研究結果顯示:(一)國二至國三時期各項物質使用行為變化有統計上顯著差異。(二)國二與國三吸菸行為在學業成績中段、後段、自我控制、接觸偏差同儕、生活發生重大事件等變項達統計上顯著差異,但國三生在性別上有顯著性。國二與國三飲酒行為在自我控制、生活重大事件等變項達統計上顯著差異,但國三生在接觸偏差同儕上有顯著性。國二與國三使用非法藥物僅在生活重大事件變項達統計上顯著效果。(三)吸菸變化情形以「一直沒有吸菸」為參考群組,「已戒掉吸菸」在家庭結構、接觸偏差同儕增加、接觸偏差同儕減少等變項達顯著差異;「後來才有吸菸」在性別、接觸偏差同儕增加、生活重大事件增加等變項達顯著差異;「一直有吸菸」在低所得、接觸偏差同儕增加、接觸偏差同儕減少、生活重大事件減少等變項達統計上顯著差異。(四)飲酒變化情形以「一直沒有飲酒」為參考群組,「已戒掉飲酒」在接觸偏差同儕增加變項達統計上顯著差異;「後來才有飲酒」,在接觸偏差同儕增加、生活重大事件增加等變項達統計上顯著差異;「一直有飲酒」在家庭低所得、接觸偏差同儕增加、接觸偏差同儕減少等變項達統計上顯著差異。

  • This study adopted the survey data of “Teenagers’ Personal Life and Learning Assessment”, conducted by the Institute of Social Sciences of the Academia Sinica , Taipei, Taiwan, Republic of China since 1996 to test substance use behavior among junior high school students. Using the questionnaires completed by 8th and 9th grade students to make a panel study, it discussed the impact factors and the differences of substance use, such as smoking, drinking, and illegal drug use among junior high school students.

The results showed:

1.Each substance use behavior has statistically significant differences during the period from 8th to 9th grade.

2.The middle and poor academic performance, self-control, interaction with deviant peers, and major life events of the 8th and 9th grade students are statistically significant differences on their smoking behavior. But, gender has significance effects on the 9th grade students’ smoking behavior only. Their self-control and major life events significantly affect their drinking behavior. But, the 9th grade students interacting with deviant peers has statistical significantly effects on their drinking behavior. Only students’ major life events have remarkably statistical differences on their illegal drug use behavior.

3.For the change of students’ smoking behavior, the study used “never smoking” students as the reference group. Students’ family structure and their increasing or interaction with deviant peers have significant differences for “quit smoking” behavior students. Students’ gender, their increasing interaction with deviant peers, and their increasing major life events have statistical significantly differences for “Smoking afterwards” students. For “keep smoking” behavior students, their low family income, their increasing or decreasing interaction with deviant peers, and their decreasing major life events have remarkably differences.

4.For the change of students’ drinking behavior, it used “never drinking” as the reference group. For "quit drinking" students, only their increasing interaction with deviant peers has statistically significant differences. Students’ increasing interaction with deviant peers and increasing major life events have remarkably differences for “drinking afterwards” students. Students’ low family income and their increasing or decreasing interaction with deviant peers have significant effects for “keep drinking” behavior students.
