Kamila Kolpashnikova

Kamila Kolpashnikova is a visiting scholar at the National Taipei University, Taiwan. She holds a PhD in sociology from the University of British Columbia. Her research interests are time use, gender and housework, North American and Japanese societies, Central Asian families, and national identity in Taiwan. She holds an MA in Socio-informatics (Social Data Science) from Tokyo University. She is a former recipient of the Japanese Government Monbukagakusho Scholarship at Tokyo University (2006-2011), the Rotary Foundation Ambassadorial Scholarship to Japan (2004-2005), and a visiting scholar at the Centre for Time Use Research and St Antony’s College, Oxford University (2015)
