Thesis Plan Presentation
1. Presentation Time: The Department holds the "Master's Program and Master's In-service Thesis Project Presentation" every semester. Presenters must have the consent of their supervising professors before they can apply for the conference. The conference will be hosted by first-year graduate students in the master's program and all graduate students should attend. The conference will be held between the tenth and fourteenth week of each semester.
The paper proposal of at least 3,000 words or more must be submitted to the organizer, the supervising professor, and the reviewing professor at least one week before the presentation. The organizer must send the electronic file of each thesis project to all full-time and part-time faculty and graduate students three days before the presentation.
2. Award Method: The Department will review the thesis project of the presenters after the conference, and the results will be "passed", "conditionally passed" and "failed".
Those who pass with conditions must complete the specified "conditions" and have the instructor's signature to approve them before they are "officially passed". Those who do not pass will be required to attend the next thesis project presentation again. The best thesis project of the semester and the outstanding thesis project will be awarded among the candidates who have their projects passed. The number of recipients for each semester will be determined by the department's full-time faculty at a meeting.
The scholarship will be awarded in the amount of NT$3,500 per student if the following conditions are met.
(1.) First-time M.A. first- or second-year publishers whose papers have been reviewed and passed.(2.) First-time M.A. first- or second-year publishers whose papers have been reviewed and conditionally passed and later been approved by their advisors as "officially passed" before the end of the semester.
